482 Effect of conviction for serious offence
This section applies in relation to a person with a positive notice who is convicted of a serious offence before the commencement if, at the commencement, the person has not been issued a further prescribed notice as mentioned in section 111 of the unamended Act.
Section 322 applies to the person as if the conviction happened immediately after the commencement.
For subsection (2), if the person has given the person’s positive notice to the commissioner under section 117(2) of the unamended Act, the person is taken to have given the positive notice to the commissioner under section 322(2).
In this section—serious offence means serious offence as defined under the unamended Act.
