(1)
A person who is carrying on the business of trading in motor cars must display the licence or a copy of it in a prominent position at each place at which business is carried on pursuant to the licence and must produce the licence on demand made by a police officer or an inspector.

A person must not refuse or fail to produce the licence in accordance with a demand made of the person under subsection (1).
