35 Transitional provision for Local Government Legislation Amendment Act 2019
(1)
This section applies to a person who, immediately before the day on which the Local Government Legislation Amendment Act 2019 section 85 comes into operation, was a person appointed by a local government under section 17(1).
(2)
The person is taken to be an authorised person appointed under the Local Government Act 1995 section 9.10(2) for the purposes of this Act on the terms and conditions that were applicable to the person’s appointment under section 17(1) immediately before the day referred to in subsection (1).
