27 Functions of Privacy Deputy Commissioner
(1)
The Privacy Deputy Commissioner has the following functions —
(a)
the privacy functions;
(b)
any other functions given to the Privacy Deputy Commissioner under a written law.
Note for this subsection:
The Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 section 142 provides for how the Privacy Deputy Commissioner performs the privacy functions.
(2)
The Privacy Deputy Commissioner has all the powers that are needed for the performance of the Privacy Deputy Commissioner’s functions.
