28 Licences and permits, cancellation etc. of
The CEO may, by writing served on the holder of a licence or permit, cancel or suspend the licence or permit if —
the holder of the licence or permit, or, in the case of a pearl boat licence, the boat in respect of which the licence is issued, ceases to be qualified in terms of any requirements prescribed in respect of the holder of a licence or permit of the kind in question, or a boat used to carry out pearling or hatchery activities, as the case requires; or
the holder of the licence or permit has failed to comply with this Act, or with any condition to which the licence or permit is subject.
The CEO may accept the surrender of a licence or permit.
