25 Matters requiring a licence
Unless he does so under, and in accordance with any conditions, restrictions or limitations imposed in relation to, a licence under this Act of which he is the holder or by virtue of which he is acting under the direction and supervision of the holder, and which authorises him so to do, a person who operates or uses, or manufactures, stores, transports, sells, possesses, installs, services, maintains, repairs, or otherwise deals with any radioactive substance, irradiating apparatus or electronic product where no exemption granted pursuant to this Act applies, commits an offence.
Regulations made under this Act may specify the degree of direction and supervision which shall be required in relation to any licence or circumstances therein set out.
A person who —
being required to furnish direction or supervision to a prescribed degree, fails so to do; or
being required to act under the direction and supervision of the holder of a licence, acts when that direction or supervision is not furnished or is not furnished to the prescribed degree,
commits an offence.
