40A Notifications to Radiological Council

(1)

The Board is to give the Radiological Council written advice of the following matters —

(a)

the cancellation of the registration of a medical radiation practitioner and the removal of that person’s name from the register under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia);

(b)

the taking of immediate action in relation to a medical radiation practitioner under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) Part 8 Division 7, together with a copy of the notice given to the practitioner;

(c)

the suspension or revocation of the suspension from the practice of medical radiation technology under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) of a medical radiation practitioner, whether generally or in relation to any specified area, circumstances or service;

(d)

the imposition, variation or revocation of any condition on registration or the practice of medical radiation technology under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) of a medical radiation practitioner;

(e)

the referral of a matter relating to a medical radiation practitioner to the responsible tribunal under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia).

(2)

The advice is to be given no later than 14 days after the occurrence of the matter referred to in that subsection.
