12 Switches and power points
(1)
Switches and power points must—
(a)
comply with AS 1428.1, or
(b)
be capable of complying with AS 1428.1 through future adaptation.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply to—
(a)
remote controls, or
(b)
power points likely to serve appliances that are not regularly moved or turned off.
