Landscaping—dual occupancies

This section applies to development for the purposes of dual occupancies in a low and mid rise housing area in the following zones—

(a)

Zone R1 General Residential,

(b)

Zone R2 Low Density Residential,

(c)

Zone R3 Medium Density Residential,

(d)

Zone R4 High Density Residential.

Before granting development consent to development to which this section applies, the consent authority must consider the Tree Canopy Guide for Low and Mid Rise Housing, published by the Department in February 2025.
