42 Minimum nurse and registered nurse percentages—Act, s 138H
(1)
This section prescribes the minimum percentage of nurses or registered nurses providing residential care at a State aged care facility prescribed under section 41 during each 24-hour period to the total number of nurses and support workers (the care staff) providing residential care at the facility during the period.
(2)
At least 50% of the care staff must be nurses.
(3)
At least 30% of the care staff must be registered nurses.
