40 Section 17 amended (Register of Multiple Use Forest Land)
Section 17 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:
by omitting subsection (15) and substituting the following subsection:The following land is not capable of being entered in the register:Crown land that is reserved land within the meaning of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970; land that is dedicated as a forest reserve.
by omitting subsection (16);
by omitting subsection (17) and substituting the following subsection:Multiple use forest land is not capable of being reserved under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970.
The amendments effected by this section have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Forestry Act 1920.
