Seafood Safety Act 2003

This section applies if—

before the commencement day, PrimeSafe has done anything in accordance with section 18 in relation to the suspension or cancellation of a seafood safety licence; and

the licence has not been suspended or cancelled before the commencement day.

On and after the commencement day, anything done by PrimeSafe in accordance with section 18 in relation to the suspension or cancellation of the seafood safety licence is taken to have been done by Safe Food Victoria.

On and after the commencement day, any submissions under section 18(1)(b) that had been made to PrimeSafe before that day in relation to the suspension or cancellation of the seafood safety licence are taken to be submissions made under that provision to Safe Food Victoria.
