47 Voluntary removal from register
A registered person or licensed corporation may, in writing, request the registrar to remove the name of the person or corporation from the register.
The registrar is to refer a request under subsection (1) to the Board and, if the Board so approves, is to remove the name of the person or corporation from the register.
The Board is not to approve under subsection (2) the removal of the name of —
a registered person if the person’s conduct is the subject of an investigation under this Act or a proceeding before the State Administrative Tribunal commenced under Part 5; or
a corporation if the conduct of a person who is an officer or employee of the corporation is the subject of an investigation under this Act or a proceeding before the State Administrative Tribunal commenced under Part 5.
