21I Remediation period
(1)
The remediation period is —
(a)
the 2‑year period commencing on the day on which the Casino Legislation Amendment (Burswood Casino) Act 2022 section 6 comes into operation; or
(b)
that period as extended under subsection (2).
(2)
The Minister may extend the remediation period, whether or not it has expired and as many times as the Minister considers is necessary.
(3)
Notice of extension of the remediation period must be —
(a)
given to the Burswood Casino licensee; and
(b)
published on the Department’s website.
