26A Extension of registration of electrician’s training licence
In this regulation —
original expiry day has the meaning given in regulation 26(2C)(a).
On an application made to the Board by the holder of an electrician’s training licence before the original expiry day, the Board may, by notice in writing to the holder of the licence, extend the registration of the licence to a day specified in the notice.
An application made under subregulation (2) must be made to the Board in the approved form.
The Board cannot extend the registration of an electrician’s training licence by more than a period of 2 years after the original expiry day.
If an application is made under subregulation (2) but the Board does not determine the application before the original expiry day, the registration of the electrician’s training licence continues to have effect on and from the original expiry day until it expires in accordance with regulation 26(2C)(b), (c) or (d).
