Issue and registration of licence
40 Issue and registration of licence
If a person who fulfils the relevant requirements of regulation 36 or 37, as the case requires, makes application for the issue of a licence in accordance with regulation 39, the Board must, if it is satisfied that the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold a licence, issue to the applicant a licence.
If the Board issues a licence, it must register the licence by entering into the register —
the name of the licence holder; and
the name of any nominee; and
any other particulars the Board considers relevant.
A licence is subject to such restrictions and conditions, if any, as may be specified in the licence.
