Augmentation of the electricity transmission network
33 Augmentation of the electricity transmission network
Without limiting a corporation’s obligations under the Act, any proposal to augment its electricity transmission network must be consistent with the network planning criteria to the extent that the corporation reasonably believes the network planning criteria are applicable in the circumstances.
Subject to regulation 14, if a corporation believes that it is necessary or desirable to augment its electricity transmission network, then the corporation must consult with any person who is —
a user or who has made an access application; and
in the corporation’s opinion, likely to be materially affected by the proposed augmentation.
