18 Revision because of a change, or proposed change, of circumstances or activity
The operator of an activity must submit to the Minister a proposed revision of the environment plan for the activity before the commencement of —
any new activity; or
any significant modification of, significant change in, or significant new stage of, an existing activity,
that is not provided for in the environment plan.
Penalty: a fine of $10 000.
The operator of an activity must submit to the Minister a proposed revision of the environment plan for the activity before or as soon as practicable after —
a change in the instrument holder for, or operator of, the activity; or
the occurrence of —
any significant new environmental impact or environmental risk; or
any significant increase in an existing environmental impact or environmental risk,
that is not provided for in the environment plan for the activity; or
the occurrence of a series of new environmental impacts or environmental risks, or a series of increases in existing environmental impacts or environmental risks, which, taken together, amount to the occurrence of —
a significant new environmental impact or environmental risk; or
a significant increase in an existing environmental impact or environmental risk,
that is not provided for in the environment plan for the activity.
Penalty: a fine of $10 000.
