Audit of scheme participant
62ZB Audit of scheme participant
The Scheme Regulator may, at any time, conduct an audit, or require an audit be conducted, of a scheme participant’s compliance with the peak demand reduction scheme.
An audit may be conducted—
to substantiate information provided to the Scheme Regulator, or
to determine whether the scheme participant has complied with the Act, this Regulation or the scheme rules.
For an audit required by the Scheme Regulator, the Scheme Regulator may require the audit to be conducted by a person—
nominated by the Scheme Regulator, or
chosen by the scheme participant from a panel of persons nominated by the Scheme Regulator, or
nominated by the scheme participant and approved by the Scheme Regulator.
An audit must be conducted in accordance with the directions of the Scheme Regulator.
