84 Phasing-in of annual rental fees for authorisations granted before 1 July 2012

In relation to an authorisation in force on 1 July 2012 that was renewed or due for renewal before 1 July 2012, the current term of the authorisation is taken to be the initial term of the authorisation for the purposes of Schedule 9.
The current term of the authorisation is the term starting on the date when the authorisation was last renewed or, if the authorisation has not been renewed by 1 July 2012 but continues in effect under section 117 of the Act, the date that it was last due for renewal.
The current term of the authorisation ends when the authorisation is next due for renewal (on or after 1 July 2012) or when the authorisation ceases to have effect (whichever happens sooner).
An authorisation is due for renewal when the term for which it is granted or renewed is due to expire (that is, disregarding any period for which the authorisation is taken to continue to have effect under section 117 of the Act).
