72 Optional side reflectors
(1)
A heavy vehicle may be fitted with side-facing reflectors.
(2)
A side-facing reflector fitted to a heavy vehicle must show the following coloured reflection of light when light is projected directly onto the reflector—
(a)
for a side-facing reflector fitted towards the front of the vehicle—white or yellow;
(b)
for a side-facing reflector fitted towards the rear of the vehicle—red or yellow;
(c)
for a side-facing reflector fitted on the central part of the vehicle—yellow.
