Rural and Regional Adjustment Regulation 2011

An application for assistance under the scheme must—

be made on the approved form; and

be accompanied by the documents stated on the application form; and

be given to the authority—

on or after the day stated on the authority’s website as the day the scheme opens; and

before the closing day.

An application may made by an applicant—

if more than 1 person is a holder of the primary commercial fishing licence or quota unit—with the consent of each other holder of the primary commercial fishing licence or quota unit; or

if a public company is the holder of the primary commercial fishing licence or quota unit—with the consent of a director of the public company.

If the authority asks the applicant to provide further information to support the application, the applicant must provide the information.

In this section—

for an application for assistance in round 1 for part 2, division 3—30 April 2024; or

for another application—30 June 2024.
