98 Section 37B amended (Minister may enter into conservation covenants)
Section 37B of the Principal Act is amended as follows:
by omitting from subsection (1) "the purpose of protecting a taxon of flora or fauna" and substituting "a conservation purpose";
by omitting from subsection (2)(b) "sections 37D and 37E." and substituting "sections 37D and 37E or in accordance with agreements reached between the Minister and the landowner; and";
by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (b) in subsection (2):provisions relating to the waiver of entitlements to statutory compensation.
The amendments effected by this section have been incorporated into the authorised version of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970.
