628A Transitional provision—Children and Justice Legislation Amendment (Youth Justice Reform) Act 2017
(1)
The amendments made to this Act by Division 1 of Part 8 of the Children and Justice Legislation Amendment (Youth Justice Reform) Act 2017 apply to the sentencing of an offender for an offence alleged to have been committed on or after the commencement of that Part.
(2)
For the purposes of subsection (1), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between 2 dates, one before and one after the commencement of Division 1 of Part 8 of the Children and Justice Legislation Amendment (Youth Justice Reform) Act 2017, the offence is alleged to have been committed before that commencement.
