19.03 Filing and service

(1)

Subject to paragraph (3), the party required or directed under Rule 19.02 to file the notice must serve a copy on—

(a)

every other party; and

(b)

the Attorney-General for the Commonwealth, if the Attorney-General or the Commonwealth is not a party; and

(c)

the Attorney-General of each State, if the Attorney-General or that State is not a party.

(2)

Unless the Court otherwise orders, the copy must be served without delay after the notice is filed.

(3)

Service of a copy of the notice need not be effected on an Attorney-General if steps have been taken that could reasonably be expected to cause the matters to be notified to be brought to the attention of that Attorney-General.

(4)

The party serving a copy of the notice must without delay file an affidavit of service.
