46A Investigation at the request of Parliament
(1)
At any time —
(a)
either House of Parliament; or
(b)
any committee of either or both Houses,
may refer to the Director for investigation any matter relating to the provision of disability services or a particular disability service that the House or committee considers should be investigated by the Director.
(2)
If a matter is referred to the Director, the Director must investigate the matter and report the result of the investigation to the presiding officer of the House or committee within any time limit set out in the referral.
