20 Application of Division to primary producers
(1)
In this regulation —
primary producer means a person who carries on a farming or grazing business on land that is —
(a)
zoned for rural purposes under a local planning scheme under the Planning and Development Act 2005; and
(b)
used solely or principally for farming or grazing purposes or for both of those purposes.
(2)
This Division does not apply in relation to an animal that is to be slaughtered —
(a)
by or for a primary producer; and
(b)
on the land on which the primary producer carries on the farming or grazing business; and
(c)
for consumption by the primary producer or the primary producer’s family or employees.
