45 Reporting to Minister
For the purposes of section 69HC(b) of the Act, written particulars of a serious situation must be given in the form of a report and must include —
all material facts and circumstances concerning the situation that the licensee knows or is able, by reasonable search or inquiry, to find out; and
the details of any action taken to avoid or mitigate any adverse environmental impacts of the situation; and
the details of corrective action that has been, or is proposed to be, taken to prevent the occurrence of a similar situation; and
for a situation involving leakage of a greenhouse gas substance that has occurred or will occur to the surface of the land or soil, the seabed or an aquifer —
an estimate of how much greenhouse gas substance has leaked, or is likely to leak; and
an estimate of how much greenhouse gas substance would leak as a result of the situation if action were taken to avoid or mitigate any adverse environmental impacts of the situation; and
an estimate of how much greenhouse gas substance would leak as a result of the situation if no action were taken to avoid or mitigate any adverse environmental impacts of the situation; and
an explanation of how the estimates mentioned in subparagraphs (i) to (iii) were made.
