480 Authorisations under pharmacy medicines rural communities licences—Act, s 20 (1) (a)

A pharmacy medicines rural communities licence authorises—

(a)

the licence-holder to—

(i)

issue a purchase order for a pharmacy medicine (the licensed medicine) stated in the licence for retail sale from the premises (the licensed premises) stated in the licence; and

(ii)

obtain the licensed medicine on a purchase order for retail sale from the licensed premises; and

(iii)

possess the licensed medicine at the licensed premises for retail sale from the licensed premises; and

(iv)

sell the licensed medicine by retail from the licensed premises to customers attending in person at the licensed premises; and

(b)

an employee of the licence-holder to—

(i)

possess the medicine at the licensed premises for retail sale from the licensed premises; and

(ii)

sell the medicine by retail from the licensed premises to customers attending in person at the licensed premises.

Examples—sales to which par (a) (iv) and par (b) (ii) do not apply

sales over the internet or by mail
