61 Failure to provide information—the Act, s 92
For the Act, section 92(2)(m), an authorised officer may request a person who deals with timber, forest products or forest materials to give the Corporation a statement in the approved form within a specified period—
including information about the quantity and type of timber, forest products or forest materials dealt with, treated or transported by the person during a specified period, and
identifying—
the land from which the timber, forest products or forest materials originated, and
the place the timber, products or materials was delivered.
The person must also, if requested by an authorised officer, support the statement with a statutory declaration.
A person must not—
fail to comply with the request without a reasonable excuse, or
make a false or misleading statement in response to the request.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
In this section—
approved form means a form approved by the Corporation for this section.
deals with, in relation to timber, forest products or forest materials, includes cutting, obtaining, removing or taking delivery.
