Recording of vote

Current

A qualified elector who wishes to vote at the election—

(a)

must record his or her vote on the ballot-paper in accordance with the directions shown on it, and

(b)

must place the completed ballot-paper (folded so that the vote cannot be seen) in the envelope addressed to the returning officer and forwarded with the ballot-paper, and

(c)

must seal the envelope, and

(d)

must state his or her full name and full address on, and sign, the back of the envelope, and

(e)

must return the envelope to the returning officer so as to be received by the returning officer before the close of the ballot.
