274 Application of Part and associated Schedules
(1)
This Part (except Division 12) applies to the election of the councillors (by ward or area) and the mayor (by area) of an area by the persons entitled to vote in the area.
(2)
Schedules 7–10 do not apply to elections of the kind referred to in subsection (1).
(3)
Division 12 and Schedules 7–10 apply to other matters as specified in Division 12 (ie the election of a mayor or deputy mayor by councillors, the election of the members of, and the chairperson of, a county council, and constitutional referendums, de-amalgamation referendums and council polls).
