5 Grades within ranks of police officers—the Act, s 12(3)
(1)
The grades within the rank of superintendent are, in descending order—
(a)
chief superintendent, and
(b)
superintendent.
(2)
The grades within the rank of inspector are, in descending order—
(a)
chief inspector, and
(b)
inspector.
(3)
The grades within the rank of sergeant are, in descending order—
(a)
senior sergeant, and
(b)
sergeant.
(4)
The grades within the rank of constable are, in descending order—
(a)
senior constable, and
(b)
constable.
