53 Administrative employees must not exercise certain powers—the Act, s 219(2)(i)
The statutory or common law powers of a police officer must not be exercised by, or at the direction of, an administrative employee—
(a)
acting or relieving in a position held by a police officer, or
(b)
supervising police officers.
