18 Delegation by board
(1)
A board may, by resolution, delegate to an appointed member, the Director or another officer referred to in section 27(1) or a committee, either generally or otherwise as provided by the instrument of delegation, the performance of all or any of its functions, except this power of delegation.
(2)
A function delegated under this section may be performed by the delegate in accordance with the instrument of delegation and, when so performed, is, for the purposes of this Act, to be taken to have been performed by the delegating board.
