40 Powers in relation to land
A commission referred to in section 39 may do all things necessary or convenient to be done for the purpose of dealing with the land referred to in that section and may in particular —
manage and dispose of the land;
subdivide, amalgamate, improve, develop and alter the land; and
enter into any contract or arrangement with a person, including a public authority or a local government, for the doing of anything that the commission is authorised to do under this section.
Without limiting section 25, a commission may enter into a transaction, contract or arrangement under subsection (1) only with the approval of the Minister and subject to any conditions attached to that approval.
