54 Compensation for recovered records
(1)
If a person loses possession of a government record as a result of a direction given under section 52 or an order or warrant issued under section 53, the person may apply to the Minister for compensation for being deprived of the record.
(2)
On such an application the Minister may pay the person such compensation as the Minister thinks fit.
