State Records Act 2000

This section applies to —

a person who is or was a member of the Commission, or a committee of it; and

a person whose services the Commission makes or made use of, or who is or was engaged or employed to assist the Commission; and

a person who is or was the Director or an officer in the State Records Office.

A person to whom this section applies must not, directly or indirectly, disclose or make use of —

any information that is in a State record to which the person has access in the course of duty;

any information obtained in the course of duty,

for the purpose of performing functions under this Act;

as required or allowed by this Act or under another written law;

in the case of a government record, with the consent of the government organisation that has control of it.
