Materials used in the grease trap that are in contact with greywater must be resistant to—

In force

(a)

greywater; and

(b)

disinfectants, deodorants and chemicals that have the potential to enter the grease trap; and

(c)

cleaning agents that have the potential to enter the grease trap; and

(d)

chemical compounds, in solid, liquid or gaseous form of a toxic or explosive nature, likely to be generated in the operation of the grease trap; and

(e)

temperatures between -5°C and 60°C.
