11 Protection
11.1 The holding tank and any parts of the outlet from the tank, the inlet to the tank and the vent pipes located below the deck level of the houseboat must be encased in steel at least 1∙5 millimetres thick or aluminium plates at least 3 millimetres thick to prevent the holding tank and the vent pipes being damaged by obstructions in the water or protruding from the water.
