17 Duty not to misinform or mislead
(1)
A registered professional engineer must not misinform or mislead a person about a matter relating to the carrying out of professional engineering work.
(2)
A registered professional engineer must take all reasonable steps to ensure that a client of the professional engineer is made aware of a matter affecting the registration of the professional engineer that may impact on the carrying out of professional engineering work.
(3)
A registered professional engineer must not misrepresent the professional engineer’s qualifications, experience or expertise to a person.
