23 Design practitioner—vertical transportation
A registered design practitioner who holds a design practitioner—vertical transportation class of registration is authorised to do the following—
(a)
prepare or vary a regulated design in relation to the integration of a vertical transportation product in a building, including a design that relates to how the vertical transportation product will integrate with an applicable building element of the building to achieve compliance with the Building Code of Australia,
(b)
make a design compliance declaration for the regulated design.
