18 Duty to manage and resolve disputes
(1)
A registered professional engineer must take all reasonable steps to manage and resolve disputes with a client of the professional engineer that relate to the carrying out of professional engineering work.
(2)
A registered professional engineer must advise a client or prospective client of the professional engineer of any process in place for the resolution of disputes before, or as soon as practicable after, carrying out professional engineering work for the client.
