21 Suspension while investigating cancellation—the Act, ss 19 and 19A
(1)
The regulatory authority may suspend a security clearance or a licence while conducting an investigation to determine if the security clearance or the licence should be cancelled.
(2)
Suspension under this section—
(a)
applies for the period, not longer than 28 days, specified in the notice under section 19, and
(b)
may be renewed one or more times by written notice given to the holder of the security clearance or licence.
