30 Police—the Act, ss 24B and 24C
(1)
A member of the NSW Police Force is not required to hold a licence or security clearance to store, at a police station, 10kg NEQ or less of explosives or explosive precursors—
(a)
in connection with the prosecution of one or more offences, or
(b)
in other circumstances where storage is—
(i)
in the public interest, and
(ii)
in anticipation of the explosive or explosive precursor product being transported to the NSW Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit for disposal.
(2)
On and from 1 July 2025, an explosive stored at a police station must be stored in a secure magazine.
