37 Service—individuals
(1)
A person serving a subpoena on an individual must serve it personally on the individual by giving the subpoena or a copy of it to the individual.
(2)
However, if the individual does not accept the subpoena or copy, the person may serve it by putting it down in the individual’s presence and telling the individual what it is.
(3)
The person need not show the original of the subpoena to the individual.
