405 Inspector’s appointment conditions

(1)

An inspector holds office on the conditions stated in the instrument of appointment.

(2)

An inspector —

(a)

if the appointment provides for a term of appointment, stops holding office at the end of the term; and

(b)

if the conditions of appointment provide, stops holding office when the inspector stops holding another office stated in the appointment conditions (the main office); and

(c)

may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the Registrar.

(3)

However, an inspector may not resign from the office under this Act (the secondary office) if a term of employment to the main office requires the person to hold the secondary office.
