In this part—competent person means—
a competent person (design-specification); or
a competent person (inspection).
competent person (design-specification) means an individual that a building certifier decides, under section 34, is competent to give the certifier design-specification help.competent person (inspection) means an individual that a building certifier decides, under section 34, is competent to give the certifier inspection help.design-specification help means help in performing a building certifying function for building design or specification for building assessment work. inspection help means help in performing a building certifying function for the inspection of assessable building work.
