37 Competent person assessment guidelines
If, under section 258 of the Act, the chief executive makes guidelines about how a building certifier may decide whether or not a person is a competent person under section 34, the guidelines may include information about—
(a)
the matters the building certifier must consider in making the decision; and
(b)
the circumstances in which it may be appropriate for the building certifier to use a competent person to give design-specification help or inspection help.
