Queensland Competition Authority Act 1997

The purpose of a code is to set out rules that apply for all or particular types of monopoly water supply activities.

For subsection (1), a code may provide for any issue about a monopoly water supply activity.

Without limiting subsections (1) and (2), a code may provide for the following—

the process for making or amending a water pricing determination, whether the process has to be complied with by a water supplier or the authority;

water pricing principles and practices.
